Mr. González is a Past President of the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals. Its website contains information for lawyers and judges on the various roles special masters serve in state and federal courts. ACAN has written a Bench Book that can be found on the ACAN website. This Bench Book provides information helpful to judges and practitioners about the appointment and uses of special masters.

Mr. González’s formative years were spent on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Never able to leave Berry entirely, the college saw fit to appointment him as a member of the Berry College Board of Visitors.
